Cloud and some rain in central Europe, turning colder in Scandinavia
Tuesday Showery rain frequent in northern Spain and a few showers may affect Portugal, but central and southern Spain stay dry with some sun. Slow-moving thundery showers for the western Mediterranean, affecting the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia plus southwest Italy and Sicily. Drier in northern Italy. Rain also for western Greece and the Adriatic coastline. Chilly easterly winds prevail through central Europe. Fairly cloudy, but dry for most of France. Light showers possible for the Low Countries and parts of Germany. Areas of rain and hill snow for Czechia and southern Poland. Fair weather for southern Scandinavia with sunshine for Denmark, southern Sweden and Norway plus the Baltic states. Also fine but cold in northern Poland. Windier for northern Scandinavia, with frequent wintry showers for northern Norway, but mainly dry for Finland.
Wednesday Rain in the east of Spain, some of it heavy. Showers for northern Spain. Fair for the rest of Spain and Portugal. A wet day in the Balearics with some heavy spells of rain. Showers in southern Italy, some heavy, but fair to the north. Greece should be fair with sunny spells. Turkey will have showers, some of them heavy. France will be breezy with sunny spells and broken cloud. Some showers in the northwest. Dry for the Low Countries and Germany. Bright and chill in Poland. Hungary should be dry with some sunny spells. Staying dry too in Austria and Switzerland. Denmark will be chilly with some sunny spells. Cold for the Baltic States but dry. Windy and cold in Finland but dry here. Cold too for Sweden and staying dry. Norway will be cold and dry in the south although gales and heavy snow in the north.
